Stripe billing

Billing portal, plan changes, and what each plan unlocks.

How billing flows

Slope uses Stripe Checkout + Customer Portal. We never store card details — Stripe holds them. We store the customer_id and subscription_id on your organization document.

Upgrading

Billing page → Upgrade → Stripe Checkout → return to Slope. Quotas are updated within a few seconds via Stripe webhook.

Managing

Billing page → Open Stripe Customer Portal. From there you can change card, download invoices, update billing email, or cancel.

Cancellation

Cancel in the portal. You keep access until the end of the billing period. Account does not auto-downgrade to Free — you stay on the paid features until the period ends, then drop to Free quotas automatically.

Refunds

We don't pro-rate refunds but we won't argue about them either. Email hello@slope.to and we'll handle it manually.
